SQL Server 2008 R2 combined with SharePoint 2010 enables your users to publish & collaborate on their analytical applications created using PowerPivot for Excel 2010.  Administrators can then manage and monitor access and utilization of these application from a centralized location using the PowerPivot for SharePoint operations dashboard.  To enable this functionality, you need to download, install and configure SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2.

PowerPivot for Excel 2010 will be available in May 2010 with general availability of Office 2010. Stay tuned at www.powerpivot.com.
