SharePoint 2010 Developer Training Course available Now on Channel 9

Today we released a new SharePoint 2010 Developer Training Course on Channel 9. This training course contains 14 training units covering all aspects of developing solutions on the SharePoint 2010 platform using Visual Studio 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010. SharePoint 2010 provides the business collaboration platform for developers to rapidly build solutions using familiar tools while leveraging a rich set of out of the box features. Visual Studio 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010 make developers more productive and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server delivers support for application lifecycle management. Developers can integrate Line of Business data in SharePoint 2010 with read/write capability delivered by Business Connectivity Services. Sandboxed Solutions can be deployed to a shared hosting environment to limit the impact of unpredictable code to the other applications in use.

[SharePoint 2010] Le service Visio 2010

SharePoint 2010 apporte incontestablement un grand nombre de nouveautés, parmi celles-ci l’on peut retrouver le service Visio. Les fonctions clé de ce service :

• Visualiser les fichiers Visio dans le navigateur

• Utilisation des fonctions de zoom

• Récupérerles mises à jour de données connectées au diagramme

Plus besoin d’avoir Microsoft Office Visio ou encore le Viewer Visio installé pour pouvoir bénéficier des fonctionnalités de celui-ci. Il convient juste de publier un fichier Visio dans une bibliothèque SharePoint et d’utiliser le composant Webpart Visio.

Au même titre que les Excel Services offert par la version de SharePoint 2007, les fichiers Visio peuvent désormais être visualisés directement dans le navigateur.

How will Sharepoint 2007 Customization work under Sharepoint 2010 - Windows Live

Most of us got this question .. what will happen to the custom web parts and customization we developed for Sharepoint 2007 ? .. will it work under Sharepoint 2010 or we have to reinvest in modifying them, fortunately i got these information from Microsoft :)

Custom code written for the 2007 version of SharePoint will work on a 2010 installation without requiring the customizations to be re-written… see more on this blog :
